Center Parcs Europe: what works differently from the UK
Same name, different company. If you've booked a European park expecting the UK rules, a few things work differently, and two of them can cost you money.

They are two separate businesses
Center Parcs UK runs six villages in Britain and Ireland. Center Parcs Europe runs 28 parks across the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium and Denmark.
They share a name and the idea: lodges in a forest, a big pool, activities to book. They don't share a booking system, prices or terms, so advice for one is often wrong for the other.
There is no Price Promise in Europe
In the UK and Ireland, some offers come with the Price Promise: if your break gets cheaper, you claim the difference.
We can't find anything like it in Center Parcs Europe's terms.
One free change to your booking, up to 21 days before you arrive. They don't say what happens to the price when you change, so ask before you count on it.
So we don't offer Price Watch for European parks. A drop isn't money you can ask for back.
Any arrival day, and more lengths
UK breaks start on a Monday or a Friday: 4-night midweeks on Monday, 3-night weekends on Friday, 7-night weeks on either. The wrong day is the most common reason a UK search looks sold out when it isn't.
In Europe a stay can start on any day, and run from 2 to 11 nights, or a full fortnight. Search only Fridays out of habit and you see a fraction of what's on sale.
Bigger lodges, different names
European parks call them cottages, and they go bigger, up to 20 people. A group that needs several UK lodges might fit in one.
Prices are in euros. School holidays differ by country, so the cheap weeks aren't the same as at home.
What we watch for a European park
Three of the four watches we run in the UK.
Pick the park, the dates and who is coming. We check the listing and email you when it changes.
