What we hold, why we hold it, and how to get rid of it. There isn't much.
What we collect
Your email address, so we can send your alerts.
The break you asked us to watch: village, dates, party size, the lodge you picked, and the price you paid if it's a Price Watch.
What each check found, so we know when something has changed and whether we have already told you.
A count of steps taken through the site, and the name of the website that sent you here, so we can see where people get stuck and how they find us. Just the site's name, never the page. No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers.
If you tell us why you stopped a watch, which of our listed reasons you picked.
Why we collect it
All of it exists to do the one job you asked us to do: check your break and email you when it changes. We don't build a profile of you, and we have no account for you to log in to.
Who else sees it
Stripe handles the payment. Your card details go to them, never to us.
Resend sends the emails, so they see your address and the alert.
Cloudflare hosts the site and the database.
That's the entire list. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
A watch and its email address are kept while the watch is running, and for 90 days after the arrival date so we can answer a question about it. Then the watch, its price history and the email address on it are deleted.
Ask us to delete yours sooner and we'll do it, whether the watch is running or not.
Stripe keeps its own payment records for as long as the law requires them to.
Your rights
Email hello@parcwatch.co.uk and you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it.
Stopping a watch stops the emails immediately; there's a link in every one we send.
Cookies
We don't use cookies for tracking or advertising. Stripe sets its own on the payment page to keep your checkout secure.
Children
ParcWatch is for adults booking a family break. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
Changes
If what we hold changes, this page changes first, with the date at the top.
