Center Parcs cancellation policy: what you actually get back

2 min read Updated 23 September 2026

What you get back depends on how many days before arrival you cancel, and whether you have Flex Your Stay. Without Flex, the deposit is gone either way.

What you get back

You can cancel at any time.

More than 70 days before
Everything back, except the deposit. With Flex Your Stay, everything.
69 to 56 days before
Half back, minus the deposit. With Flex, everything.
56 to 28 days before
A quarter back, minus the deposit. With Flex, everything.
27 to 7 days before
Nothing. With Flex, 75% back.
6 to 2 days before
Nothing. With Flex, half back.
Less than 2 days before
Nothing, with or without Flex.

These are Center Parcs' own bands, and their table lists day 56 in two of them. Cancelling on day 56? Ask them which applies.

The short version

Without Flex Your Stay, the cliff edge is 28 days. Cancel inside four weeks and you get nothing.

The deposit is 30% of your break.

Cancel by phone, not online. Cancelling your break doesn't cancel your activities, so do both.

What Flex Your Stay buys you

It's optional cover you add when you book, or within 14 days. The fee isn't refundable, and it doesn't cover activities.

It matters most in the middle. More than 70 days out, it only saves your deposit. Inside 2 days, it saves nothing. Between 56 and 2 days, it turns little or nothing into most of your money.

Worth it? It depends how likely you are to cancel in that window. With school terms and colds going round, that's not a small chance.

Moving your break instead

Without Flex, changing dates is much tighter than most people expect.

Without Flex Your Stay
You can move it once, 10 weeks or more before arrival, for £38 (€43 at Longford). You then have 8 weeks to pick a new date, or it counts as a cancellation. Inside 70 days, no changes at all.
With Flex Your Stay
Free, up to 7 days out. Between 6 and 2 days, it costs 25% of the original break. Inside 2 days, no changes.

One catch: you pay your original price or the new one, whichever is higher. A cheaper week never means money back.

Their help centre says you can't cancel inside 10 weeks without Flex. The booking terms say you can, with the refunds above, and the terms win.

Activities, spa and restaurants

These have their own rules, separate from your break, and they're changing.

Arriving on or before 9 October 2026
Cancel up to 12 hours before for a full refund. Later than that, you pay half.
Arriving on or after 12 October 2026
Cancel up to 7 days before for a full refund. Inside 7 days, you pay half.
Worth noticing

From mid-October 2026, dropping a session six days out costs you half. It used to be free up to 12 hours before.

Restaurant tables: cancel more than 48 hours before for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, nothing back.

Waiting for a place in something full? We'd expect the 7-day rule to free places up a week out, not the night before. We'll know once we've watched it.

The other side of it

Every cancellation puts a break or session back on sale, for whoever sees it first. How that works.

Tell us the break or session you want, and we'll watch it until you arrive.

Waiting on someone else to cancel?

Tell us the sold-out lodge and dates. We watch them and email you as soon as it comes back on sale.
